PFLNG1, PETRONAS’ first floating LNG facility with a capacity of 1.2 million tons per annum (mtpa) is expected to commission in early 2016 in the Kanowit gas field, 180 kilometers offshore Bintulu, Sarawak. Fabrication is underway in Okpo, South Korea.
